The Glad Canada Program for Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis is an evidence-based program that aims to assist people in managing degenerative hip and knee osteoarthritis via education and activity.
Over 6-8 weeks, participants attend two educational sessions and twelve group supervised exercise sessions. These educational sessions focus on understanding osteoarthritis, potential therapies, and self-management techniques. The exercise concentrates on joint stability, functional strength, and endurance to alleviate pain and enhance function. Throughout the program, our experienced clinicians give personalized assistance, ensuring each participant has the support they require to reach their health objectives.
The Glad program enables patients to take control of their osteoarthritis management, improve their quality of life, and keep their independence in physical activity.
